OUR STORY
From Humble Beginnings to a Trusted Name
Our story never had a single, dramatic launch. It’s a journey rooted in industry experience and a clear vision for something better. Aluminium Windows Cape Town, as it exists today, grew organically from the busy operations of Tableview Glass. Our journey really took shape when Leon, then a smaller player in the glass industry, connected with Neil, who was running TGA North.
Neil had kept TGA North thriving for almost a decade, often acting as a sister company to alleviate stress on Tableview Glass. But eventually, to truly take ownership and build a distinct reputation, a strategic decision was made. One day, the connection shifted, and Aluminium Windows Cape Town emerged, breaking away to forge its own path. This was the moment we committed to our own identity and vision, a decision that still echoes through today as we blaze into new territory with our double-glazing.
Leon eventually joined forces with Neil, bringing his own expertise to the table and taking on many of Neil’s roles, allowing Neil to focus on what he does best. With his background on oil rigs, Neil brought a unique pragmatism, while Leon’s office experience fuelled his dedication to improving communications and day-to-day function. Together, they formed a partnership built on shared values.
We’ve grown to be a bit of a big fish in a small pond, but we aren’t all that focused on competing with the sharks. We're happy being a proficient and rising force. Our biggest dream isn’t to strike it big- it’s to grow responsibly, with each increase in productivity met with rigorous attention to detail. This growth isn't about vanity, either; it's about providing stability for our staff, our family, and our community, ensuring we can continue to deliver on our promises without compromise.
